UPS should be here by 6 or so with my new camera.

I decided to go Nikon and am getting a 50mm f/1.8 lens later this week. Amazing lens to start off with.

I just sold my bedroom on eBay to get some cash for a new camera. I've been looking at Canon's Rebel XSI which just came out recently. It has got some great reviews for an entry level camera and is a great price. It's often matched up against the 40d, which was my other option since I would have the money for that one as well. But I'm planning on starting with the 450d to have some extra cash to build up my lens collection.

Camera bodies come and go, but L glass is forever (as I have read)

The cool thing about getting an SLR is if I buy a 35mm lens adapter for my HV20 I can use all the lenses (for the most part [Ef-S is a bit of a hassle])

any input?

This semester is almost done and once I get a chance I'm going to wipe my entire gallery and start fresh!

I'll upload my drawings I have piling up recently and post updates from my current projects I'm coming up with to do over break.

So far this break has looked and sounded cool, but now I notice how much time I pissed away doing nothing really..I haven't opened up any of my 3d programs in awhile...and have been relatively uninspired to do anything really of any artistic substance. I blame my first semester's class "Cutting Construction paper over and over again and you 101"

I need a job..right now I'm drawing designs for a folder or something for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center's Image recovery center ( they deal with recovering cancer patients ). Maybe it will get me in the mood again.

One thing that did make an impact on me though was when I watched Four Eyed Monsters. I watched it online recently and have to say it is such an amazing movie. the opening of it alone pretty much sums up life. It has such a great style and feel to it that in the end makes me feel even more unproductive
